Luckyore: From Stillness to Resonance

A Brand Origin Story

Interviewee: yotowang, Founder

Date: June 30, 2026

Introduction

This interview traces the founder’s journey through a Q&A format—from the peak of the fashion industry to a prolonged period of stillness, and ultimately, to a rebirth through crystal. We delve into the origins of Luckyore’s core philosophy—"Excavating Time, Framing the Unique"—and explore the development of concepts such as the "Energy Transducer" and "Resonance."

Part I: The Severance and the Stillness

Q: What was your state of mind when you decided to close the apparel business you had run for over 20 years?

A:

It wasn't bankruptcy; it was a deliberate severance. My intuition told me that continuing would only lead to greater burdens. In that moment, my focus wasn't external—it was internal. How could I bear the weight? How could I face the employees who had been with me for over a decade? The process was excruciating. It wasn't a sudden collapse, but a "slow grind"—a death by a thousand cuts over five or six years.

I was in a state of slumber—lying heavy upon the ground, unable to rise. Though friends urged me to become an influencer or jump into livestream sales, I resisted instinctively. I could smell the desperation in that rush for quick profits; struggling in another swamp would only drag me deeper. I knew I couldn't move. My energy felt utterly drained.

Q: How did you spend those five or six years of silence?

A:

I left the office filled with materials and moved to a place surrounded by mountains and water, away from the city, for nearly four years. I didn't rush to find a new track; I allowed myself to stop completely. My energy didn't recover through human interaction, but through nature. Watching the lake and trees daily, that quiet and slowness allowed me to breathe. I also delved deeply into Eastern metaphysical wisdom during this time, which gave me an initial understanding of "energy."

Part II: Awakening and Choice

Q: Why crystals? Why not return to fashion or pursue a more conventional path?

A:

I saw a market defined by "involution" and restlessness. I had no interest in "harvesting leeks" (exploiting customers), nor in being harvested myself. I needed a fair playing field, so I looked to North America and Europe—places where design is respected and individuality is valued.

Choosing crystals was a rational business decision:

  1. Trend: Society is shifting from material abundance to spiritual necessity. Amid rapid development, our inner states, physiology, and experiences are changing drastically. The next 20 years will be an era of holistic healing.
  2. Medium: In an age of virtual economies (AI, Metaverse), people crave tangible solace—something they can physically touch. Crystals are both physical entities and vessels capable of holding and transmuting energy.
  3. Value: Crystals hold immense intrinsic value, determined by rediscovering their benefits to humanity. This process of excavation sustains long-term growth.
  4. Intuition: My gut told me this was right. Though I wasn't a geologist, I am a designer. I understand material, texture, and form. That is my leverage.

Q: You mentioned that "reckless urgency leads to loss." How did this mindset shape Luckyore?

A:

Having suffered from rushing, I developed an extreme aversion to "fast." A crystal takes hundreds of millions of years to form; a human takes time to grow. This "slowness" and "stillness" is the closed loop between me and the crystal. If I rushed to close deals just to make sales, I'd be repeating the past. Luckyore must be slow. It must align with the Tao of Nature.

Part III: Design and Philosophy

Q: As a veteran designer, how is your approach to crystals different from other sellers?

A:

It lies in "excavation" and "interaction."

Most sellers chase perfect spheres and clarity—that is the jeweler's mindset. As a designer, I look at a rough stone not for its price, but for the "pre-existing order" within its raw texture. I am not a creator; I am an excavator. I don't alter it; I discover it. Then, I use design to "cradle" its original form.

This is interaction: allowing the natural energy (crystal) and the human frequency to reach a state of "harmony" within my work.

Q: You often mention "energy." How do you define it without sounding esoteric?

A:

I don't believe crystals wield magic. I see them as transducers or tuners.

The universe is awash with energy; the human body is a magnetic field. A crystal captures, focuses, and conducts this ambient natural energy to the body. When one feels anxious or off-balance, it is a sign of frequency disruption. Selecting a stone via a pendulum or intuition is the body seeking its matching harmonic. This isn't superstition; it is the physical manifestation of intuition.

Q: Why is "Uniqueness" so central to the brand?

A:

Because true luxury is not defined by price, but by non-replicability. Everyone is unique; everyone's frequency is unique. Therefore, your resonance with a crystal is one-of-a-kind. Luckyore rejects assembly-line uniformity. Every piece is "calibrated to you." This bespoke quality is our highest value.

Part IV: The Vision

Q: In one sentence, what message does Luckyore convey to the world?

A:

Luckyore honors a "Covenant with Time."

In our craft, we preserve the raw imprints left by the earth, allowing the rough stone to become an anchor for your emotions and decisions. We are not merely making jewelry; we invite you to slow down and hear the voice of time. We do not sell accessories, but the "Textures of Time."

May these crystals, bearing the weight of ages, serve as a medium for your dialogue with yourself—resonating in perfect sync with your inner evolution.
